  1. I actually played these clones before I played the originals, I remember playing Centipede, and thinking, "damn this a shitty version of Aperion!" (I was like 7-8 at the time haha.) Great channel!

  2. Is Ambrosia Software defunct? I still have Apeiron X on my imac and I play it in the trail mode wish I could play past wave 15. But it is still fun!

  3. It's funny to see that my Dad wasnt the only one who not only played this alot, but was insanely good at it! May he rest in peace.

  4. When I was in fifth grade we had this game on a few of the Macs at school so it's very nostalgic for me. It's one of those games that's relatively simple conceptually but just executed really well. The intensity and sound effects are amazing! This is a really fantastic game that I think a lot of people missed out on. I think it's similar to Tetris in many ways.

  5. I can still hear these sound effects. When my local arcade went out of business and I could no longer play Centipede I replaced it with this game, which I played the absolute shit out of as a kid.

  6. Thank you so much for posting this. Many people don't know about this game but I remember how intensely thrilling it was for me when it was on some of our school Macintoshes when I was in fifth grade. Such a well executed game.
